A chipped tooth, a one-sentence description, a zero feedback seller, and a $1200 BIN

$529 BIN price. You'd think free shipping, right? Nope. Still going to charge you too much to ship it.

Well, I think it's high time to out the stupid people in my neighborhood.

This guy lists this Odyssey every month or two. For 3500 dollars. I like the fact he makes a big deal of the fact that it hasn't been turned on since 1986. I wouldn't bother with more than 500 dollars for an Odyssey that hasn't been turned on in 25 damn years. The fact that it's been up on and off for two years tells me that he's probably not very "negotiable" when it comes to price.

These people want at least $1000 or a donation tax receipt for $1000 for this D85. They have listed it for YEARS. But on a positive it used to have a mint Yamaha SY-1 with dust cover manual and everything on top of it which I convinced them to sell me for $200. Most regretful sale ever. I sold it for $700 when I got my first modular and told myself I didn't need monos anymore and sold ALL of my monos. It was when I was very new to synths and thought another SY-1 would come along another time. WRONG.

This guy started this XF6 off at 2k and now that it's down to 1500 it's actually an ok price. But everyone probably got turned off when he could have just sold it for 1500 the first day.

http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sel ... Z438018093

For only 3800 these could be yours...

http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sel ... Z412499301

He's had this as low as 1500 but then when people email him about it, he just jacks up the price again.

http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sel ... Z436510195

There's also a clown that runs around picking up free organs then tries to sell them for thousands of dollars. He has too many posts to list. He's probably got a garage or warehouse full of them and his wife, if he has one, probably hates his guts.

And of course no shortage of people that explain their high prices by saying "What if you ordered from Ebay, paid UPS customs and shipping?" Well if I wanted to pay that price I would have already done it LOL

My God! It's even worse than Montreal! You poor guy, having to go through all these ads each days to harvest the few good things...

But when I see this CM-64 still offered at $500, I really wonder what's up with Canadian sellers?!

Not only is the price about 3x the current market value, but when did DX/TX synths have filters?

I might be wrong, but $350.00 for an OB-8 voice card with NO CEM chips at all?
