Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY / CRAIGSLIST LISTINGS HERE!!!
I would love to have that Vinyl lathe, and the instrument he built is huge and probably quite interesting... There's no way anyone I know can afford this. Not in my lifetime. I recall them auctioning the instrument alone at a million US dollars a while back. Substantial drop in price, but still astronomically priced. I didn't put this in the ridiculous thread, because it IS interesting, and definitely has a certain steampunk flair to it.

$250k of ANYTHING, even Buchla or Serge.space6oy wrote:yeah that made me think "holy s**t!" soon as i opened it and saw the other image... know how much eurorack you could put together for $250k though? jeesh...
He is trying to fund a movie, but honestly, I think he'd be better served by going the indiegogo or something like that where he's a better chance of raising that sort of money. I mean, I totally love all of my folktek instruments and they provide countless hours of intrigue. However, that being said, essentially building the Fokltek Imaginarium would no doubt cost many more limbs than I can afford in a lifetime.
Perhaps one of the more affluent folks in the music industry will scoop this up -- because it IS quite a nice set of pieces... just...
It's like walking past the local jeweler, gazing at the various swiss chronos that are priced upwards of a small home.

I have no idea what this auction refers to, because I get this when I click the link:

Go figure why eBay still can't resolve this issue after a decade... I just live in goddamn Canada for Christ's sake!Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries.

Even if it were reasonably priced, it would still be a an instrument for the 1%ers club.
I would pay a pretty penny to just spend a week with it though.
The description just sounds amazing.
Standard synth+utility modules, effects, samplers, THUMB PIANOS!?!?!
And it comes with a lathe so you can cut your own records.
f**k.

Yamaha CS-01 Mk2 FS on shopgoodwill.com!
I just happen to look at the goodwill sales site and found this
http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Ya ... 46957.html
it's a CS-01 Mark2.
Thought I'd post it up here for awareness.. currently it's going for $135 USD + approx. $15 shipping.

I know I am way late to reply, but there are no duties when it is marked for repair between the two. Found that out on the Kenton website.analoglsd wrote: Yeah, I noticed that, but I was referring to the repair peeps I have around here. Paying shipping and duties twice to get it to the UK and back for repairs just isn't too attractive to me. Ya never know though, maybe it' doesn't need any work...

Only because the guy sounds like he doesn't know synths. Look at the paramters, almost all of them are turned close to entirely down.Sir Ruff wrote:Famous last words...sequentialsoftshock wrote:I bet it works too without much fixing

I haven't seen a cat this nice in a while and is going to bid. So it's a good time to bust out your point of reference pricing guides
