Just a hello from a trumpet player, synth freak..

Just wanted to say how glad I am to discover this site. The database of vintage synths is really impressive. I am a trumpet player, but I got into synths a few years ago when I became fascinated with the quality of the sounds and effects. I must say that what amazes me most is how timeless these instruments are. Despite the leaps and bounds in technology, waveforms, memory, data storage, etc., the vintage stuff is still really cool equipment..and AFFORDABLE..
My first synth keyboard ever was a Korg X3. I went to an i3 arranger keyboard, simply because I needed some help with my playing skills. Today, I have an 11 year old General Music Grand Digital Piano. I'm looking to get back into a real synth keyboard again.
