Subject line pretty much says it all. I might have a shot at buying one of these, but I never see them come up for sale so I have no clue what the going rate is (for the purposes of making the guy an offer).
What do you all think a reasonable price might be?
What's a fair price for a Nord Modular (G1) expansion board?

IMHO, no more than ~$325 USD. It might be cheaper to buy a G1 keys/rack with the expansion and then pull and resell.
Good luck - the expander presence really expands the possibilities of the unit, especially as it concerns "polysynth" duties, not the least of which would include serious pad power.
cheers,
Ian

Thanks for the reply, Ian.
I managed to get it for $250. I should have it by Thursday. I was already really enjoying my recent upgrade from Micro to keys, and doubling the polyphony may well turn the little red beast into my favorite synth of all.
