I like it a lot. You can get the nicest tremolo, or you can go completely out of control with extreme ring modulation stuff. Nice for pattern stuff. Great sounding pedal. You also get a lfo out, which is pretty cool. You can certainly interface it with whatever synth with gate/cv in/out. I recommend. They usually show up on craigslist pretty cheap. Ppl buy it because of the brand and hype, don't know what to do with it and sell cheap. I got my second one, with a exp. pedal, for $120.

Thanks for the info. I think I might check one out. I imagine it will be pretty cool on guitar parts too.

No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.

I personally don't like the sound of the Fooger Ring Mod, it's really tame as far as tonality compared to a vintage Maestro, Frequency Analyzer, etc.

I know it has a ton of useful things like the LFO and CV jacks, but I'm REALLY particular with the sound of ring mods.

The Back Cat Ring Modulator and Fairfield Circuitry's Randy's Revenge are the two best sounding ring mods out there in my opinion. And the Studio Electronics one.
