organ synth?

Hi! I am looking for a synth mainly for organ playing. I really like Sigur Ros and know that their synth player uses a Yamaha SK 20 for their organ parts. The Sk 20 seem a tad hard to come by and can be a bit expensive. Anything comparable that is easier to find and a bit less? What would be the synth you would most recommend for organ sound playing? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Matthew Wilson

roland RS-09's somewhat similar, though probably similar in price. might try looking up one less common like a VK-09, i landed mine for $100 on craigslist.

Yeah I was going to say RS 09 a friend of mine has one that looks brand new he got it for about 100 US dollars...

that's a lucky find though, they ebay for $350-450.

edit: damn, a VK-09 just auctioned off for $370, guess mine was a lucky find too... finding anything comparable but less expensive than a yamaha may be tough... unless you go digital...
