What's a Good Price for a DK Synergy?
What do you guys think would be a good asking price for a Synergy?

That all depends...
Is it a Synergy, Synergy II or II+?
Does all the presets function? Do you have any of the preset carts?
What condition is it in? Does it look like it served duty as the target backstop for the local gun range?
Do you have the SynHCS software for the Kaypro 2/4/10 that allows you to explore the possibilities?

It's a Synergy 1, and it comes with a cartridge labeled "Carlos." It's in pretty much mint condition, no cosmetic damage and plays fine.

I've seen 2 on the local SF Bay CL for around $500 in the last year or so... They were IIs though I think...

A Synergy 1 doesn't have the options (full computer-based editing) that the 2 and 2+ have. I paid just under $1000 for my 2+ without the Kaypro computer and SynHCS software. I would expect to see a reasonable price for a Synergy 1 near $500 dollars, if mint.
If you can find a 2 or 2+ for the same price, you're far better off getting that and resourcing a kaypro 2/4/10 computer. Even at a couple hundred more, a Synergy 2/2+ will provide you with many more editing options than a 1.
