cheap midi sequencer

Looking for (if it exists) a cheap, compact sequencer that can do the following:

-6+ tracks of real and step time recording that can be muted real-time
-basic quantization and edit functions
- at least two midi outs
-ability to loop and be synced to external midi clock
- ability run to loop two tracks of differing length i.e one track with a 2 bar loop, another track with an 8 bar loop - the 2 bar loop will continue to loop throughout the 8 bar loop.

I know more expensive modern sequencers can do this no problem, however I was hoping there was a cheap old unit that would cover these needs.

Would something like the mc-50mkII cover the above conditions? It's hard to figure out pouring over the manuals.

Thanks

As far as I know the Roland won't loop sections of differing lengths, although I'm not 100% sure. An Alesis MMT-8 or Kawai Q80 will, I believe, but your sticking point there could be wanting more than one MIDI out port.

Your best bet might be looking for a deal on an MPC1000 with JJOS.

I think the q80ex has two midi ports. Although it's not a deal breaker as I have a midi patch-bay, but at any rate I'll probably have to not cheap out on this and get something more featured.

Something like an mc-80 would probably suit me well as really don't need the sampling functions of an mpc.
Could be trouble finding one though, there's is one that's been for sale for months in my area - except it's listed for 5k. :?
