i am considering buying one to make music with. has anyone used Deluxe Music Construction Set?

I have one, but I couldn't figure out how to get software on to it.

I wanted to do some venetian snares tracker stuff on it, but I don't know how I can transfer samples and what not.

I bought one off ebay a month ago so its my seconD since 1989
recorDeD some say speech synth phrases into cubase, inserteD a vocoDer , Delay anD reverb, anD playeD the vocoDER layereD with a programeD paD on my x station, nice results plus I love the amiga, i haD octameD before but never got into Depth with it, im sure given the right aDD ons the a 500 was a great sampler but i too woulD like to see what it can Do with regarDs to sequencing
was that a flagship program for the a 500 ?

I did try DMCS, way back when...

But in the end I stuck with OctaMED because it was better for gigging - I achieved a pretty cool live, groovebox-y approach using two A1200s - running both internal samples and outboard MIDI gear...

Stopped doing things that way around 1999-2000, although I have to say that I'm seriously considering getting another A1200... But I'd still only run OctaMED on it, and I probably wouldn't use an unexpanded/unaccelerated A500 - it's VERY limiting.

Before I switched to the Atari ST & Cubase, I used an Amiga 500 running Dr. T's MRS (8-track) MIDI sequencer, which was a scaled down version of their KCS sequencer - at least, I think that's what it was called. It was quite limited but did the trick at the time.
