Best VST's for Synth and these 80s sounds?

Yo wassup fam, I'm in need of a good synth VST, something that has alot of the patches similar to today's popular synths. I mean just to start, Justin Timberlake's "My Love" pad....something that has that. and as far as 80s sounds, I mean like the real popular synths and I'll post some samples. I really would prefer stuff from the early 90s scene such as DX100 style sounds but here are some of the synths I am in need of buying!

The synth rhythm in the background along with the synth used to play some of the piano lead (if you listen close there is a warbly sound in there that you hear primarily in the first 8 to 16 bars, Roger Troutman used it alot...what is it???):

Bonus Question: This bass sound was REAL popular in the 90s....Where can I find this old school hip hop style bass? (Also, how can I achieve this kind of echo-ey, vibrant piano sound?)

Depending on the date of the track you might want to look at the M1 (Part of Korg's Digital Legacy bundle). The hardware M1 itself was heavily used about that time.

I second taking a look at the Korg Legacy digital collection with the M1 (great for the PCM base piano and strings) and the wavestation (great for more synth type rhythms and melodies) Also you might want to take a peek at NIs FM8. It's a full featured FM synth. It is rather massive, but can do a wide range of 80's and 90's FM sounds. Alternatively there is FINELINE which is a freeware FM synth. There is a lot less control over the sound sculpting, but you should be able to get some FM pianos and flutes. You could also look into some of the emulators like the Jupiter 8V and the MiniMonsta, although these would not be all in one solutions, but they can add to a palate of sounds.

M1 was the name of the synth, I'm not sure it meant but that was designated (in the same as TR808, DX7 etc). Similarly the 01/w thing. Korg Digital Legacy bundle is a VST version of the M1, the Wavestation and an effects device. Try the Korg website re suppliers. I don't think you can download because it requires a dongle.

Really any late 80s digital synth: Korg M1, T1, Roland D50, JV anything, Ensoniq TS10, TS12, SQ2 etc.
The electric piano is just an electric piano sound with reverb on it.
When you talk about the "warbly sound" do you mean the talkbox vocal? Kind of singing robot voice?
That's a talkbox, do a search for talkbox and you can learn about it. Roger was the king of this.

If you wanna do new jack swing type music, you are gonna have to actually write some music, that's the hard part. The sounds are not that special in my opinion.
Also, for example the wobbly flute in the second video, the reason it sounds that way is because of how the guy is playing it with lot of pitch bend and modulation, not because it's a great sound. Really!

So practise playing and try and work out some good chord changes.

Here's a free one, typical new jack swing/early 90s RnB:

oh and I can't remember if I recommended KvR audio. They have a big VST database, including free stuff broken down by type. There are lots of forums there also.

The warbly sound you can hear in the 3rd and 4th video. I know alot about the talkbox but actually never knew the talkbox of making that sound. If it does, thats sweet. But I was just wondering if there was some patch out there that could generate the same result.

I know New Jack took skill to make, the good new jack that is. But I'm more concerned about some of the sounds, such as the sawtooth wave sound in the 2nd video and alot of the synths Teddy Riley used. I'll def look at the synths you posted above. I just got the M1 and Wavestation.

I dont know how good your musical ear is, but if you can transcribe the chords during the first verse. If I'm not mistaken the chord prgoression changes a bit during the 3rd time around of the repeat if that makes sense.

If you look at the 4th video, it says ralph 1998 before you click play...there's a warbly sound that Roger used during the 0:15 to about 0:30 segment there. Its similar to the first 2 measures you hear in the blackstreet song, you have to REALLY have a ear out to hear it in the blackstreet song because for some reason Teddy decided only to do it in the first 2 measures lol.
