The discussion at KVRAudio mentioned a small setback due to a packaging design issue. I've just subscribed to the newsletter - I'm really excited about this bundle.

Not sure why FXpansion is throwing their hat into an already crowded ring of software synthesizers.
I see this DCAM is kind of a unique idea. But not all that impressed.
The Amber - string synthesizer emulation looks/sounds interesting.
But there are free programs out there that sound decent.
I know I can't really judge the sound from a youtube example playing on my laptop.

I wanted to compare Strobe to my Juno-60 in an exhausting session but it turns out my Juno-60 has to take a little visit to the synth hospital.

Anyway, I think it's absolutely great. Big step forward, filter drive sounds great, insane modulation possibilities. Some of my own demos:

Strobe (reverb is D16's Toraverb): http://www.theheartcore.com/music/junatik_arp.mp3

wow!! very interesting demos..
i especially like the Strobe arpeggio..
it comes down to the fact that i don't have $250 to throw around at all right now... i've begun to wish that i could just buy Strobe by itself for maybe $75 - $100 .. because that is all i am really interested in investing in - software that really sounds analog - i'm in, but the rest.. naw..

i have never liked FM synths.. maybe i've heard them and enjoyed it without knowing, but i don't need another.. then as for Amber.. i do want more pad synths... but this one seems a little geared toward the retro 60's feel.. i want to create new pads, not recreate something that's been heard a million times..

it would be very cool to have a demo to play with... time passes..... demo??.... time passes.....

Cypher is not a DX7-style FM synth. The FM is a notable feature (since most analog modelers don't allow audio-rate oscillator modulation) but not the only thing in there by far.
