Reaktor 5.5 coming

Just announced today by Native Instruments, public beta version can be downloaded.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

It's great. Not a real "new version", but a good upgrade. At least they're keeping it on... Reaktor gives me infinite amount of sonic pleasure time... Metaphysical Function alone is worth the money...

How's everyone liking the newest Reaktor? Seems like the workflow was supposed to improve somewhat. That thing is so deep, I would think that would be a big improvement ala Logic.

It's crashed on me twice so far, and I can't open up any of the "New Addition" instruments (Carbon, Steam Pipe 2, etc) without Reaktor spazzing out with a Fatal Error. Anybody else having this problem?

Those problems aside, I like the new interface a LOT more. Way more comprehensible than it was before, and not as intimidating either. I'm more inclined to explore under the hood now :)

Loving the "Titan" ensemble it came with too. Sounds fantastic.

I know how you feel, i've been mix and matching the particular synths i want from NI on the sale. Only to realise i might as well get Komplete and be done with it. :lol:
