SETUP:
CME Mobiltone U-Key v2
BEHRINGER XENYX USB Mixer
Ableton Live
Windows XP
So, my problem: My MIDI Keyboard's Joystick seems to send MIDI commands to Ableton Live although no commands have been assigned in Live's MIDI Map. Here's what it does:
Joystick Left: Volume fades down
Joystick Right: Volume fades up
This is very annoying when I'm f.ex. playing a synth in Omnisphere that has Joystick Up and Down as a Cutoff Filter. Since my joystick is circular, if I make as much as a half millimeter turn to the Right/Left, my volume in Ableton goes Up/Down. It's really getting on my nerves!!! Does anyone know what causes this?
*** (BONUS PROBLEM) ***
When I hit E4 very hard it does CTRL-Z in Ableton Live! OMG.
My MIDI Keyboard changes DAW Settings - no MIDI Mapping set!

Do you have the controller input configured in Live as a single MIDI channel per track or to "All Ins" and/or "All Channels"? That can cause problems.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Thank you! I changed it from All Ins to Mackie Control, and now it doesn't control the volume on all tracks. It however controls sends A and B...meatballfulton wrote:Do you have the controller input configured in Live as a single MIDI channel per track or to "All Ins" and/or "All Channels"? Update, I solved it. I changed the "Midi From" to "MackieControlXT" instead of simply MackieControl.
