I would also like to know about synth repair experts in the St. Louis area. I saw Paul Brooks' name mentioned in an old post, but he doesn't have a website. Someone suggested I try Applied Acoustics/Winston Electronic, a business that seems to specialize in repairing organs and amplifiers. Looking at their online reviews, I'm a little leery about them.

Back in the 80s and 90s, we had several shops that sold high-end electronic music gear, and they had their own repair services. Now all we have is Guitar Center.

Bell Tone Synth Works is a new electronic music gear repair workshop in Philadelphia, PA focusing on vintage synths! We just officially launched the business about a year ago, but I've been working on synths for about 8 years now. We also have a blog where we document some of our repairs.

email us if you have a repair project you'd like to discuss!

Does anyone have any advice on where to go for vintage synth repair in South Korea (or in the vicinity)?

I have an akai ax60 with a few dead keys and a wonky VCO.

Any repair techs near Boston MA? I don’t mind driving a bit for the right person who knows how to work (specifically on the Oberheim OBXA) and has a great track record / strong communication. Some individuals I’ve outreached don’t even reply, and that’s never a good sign. Thanks all!
