I'm fixing a Roland PM-16 and I want to restore the plastic lens that's over the display. I tried using Novus 123 but it didn’t remove the haze (in fact there’s more of it now).
I was going to use Brasso but I read this no longer works with the new formulation of the stuff.
What else can I try to bring the plastic lens to a non-hazed / like new condition?
Shake well, don't rub too hard, use a soft cotton cloth (NOT paper towels), wet the cloth first with water, and it will do the job.
The worse it is, the longer it will take to bring it back to life, but it can be done. I've seen amazing results in short order. I use it to polish keys as well. Smells nice too.
