I noticed on eBay recently a guy selling OLED replacement displays for some Quasimidi gear (about to order one for my Sirius), and this got me thinking..
Both of my Roland W-30's I've replaced the backlight on and they work fine, but I was wondering if it was possible to replace the 'slow' LCD with a nice bright OLED screen?
Replacing old LCD displays with OLED?

Re: Replacing old LCD displays with OLED?
After a lot of googleing, it would seem not possible. However some newer synths that use standard size screens it would seem it is possible.

Re: Replacing old LCD displays with OLED?
It's a few years on now from the original request, I guess, but I have an LED replacement screen for my K2000. You can also get them for the W-30. They are beautiful screens.

Not cheap, though.
