What kind of scsi cable do i need for mpc 2000xl?

I'm trying to use external zip drive for my mpc 2000xl and couldn't find exact cable for this since I've never used scsci before.

so I found that its DB25/HD50 cable but there were 2 type and 3 type makes me confusing.

what type of cable should I use? both 2 type and 3 type are fine?
