EII I mistakenly connected the RS422 interface to the SCSI port on a Mac. Now I have no signal output. I feel ignorant and ashamed (idiocracy). Have I done major damage or is there a fix for this? Also, will I need a special cable for this or will a common DB25 to Mini Din 8 pin work?

Signal output, are you talking about audio out?
The RS422 needs to connect to a serial port on a Mac, either fax or printer. You can get the right cable on Ebay usually.
