Should I hock my A3000?
About 4 years ago I got a second-hand Yamaha A-3000 for a couple hundred bucks. I used it maybe once or twice. And then it sat in my rack unused ever since. I put it on consignment at my local music store, but no one has so much as looked at it. I'm wondering if its even worth trying to sell, or if I should just hock it at the pawn shop for beer money. Is this thing even worth any $$?

He's right. I know a pawnshop owner who buys stuff at normal pawnbroker prices, then flogs them on eBay for a large profit.supermel74 wrote:You'll get more on Ebay than you will from a pawn shop.

i know some pawn shop owners...and they are all f**k crooks. the only way to get a good deal at a pawn shop is to hoc something you stole, or be good friends with them in a crookish sort of way.
on the upshot...a pawn shop owner makes a good band manager, if you accept the fact that they are assholes that might take your money.
