HI THERE
just bought a fantastic mpc2500.
the guy who sold it to me said that there is an alternative OS that i can download from the net,and load it into the sampler.
He said that with this cheap upgrade(something like 50 bucks) i can transforme the mpc into a whole new machine, and it adds a complete control over the adsr of both filter and amp, plus loads of other stuff.
but he cannot give me the link to this beauty at that time.
can you help me find it?
does it worth the change and the money???
help me since i enjoy the mpc too much!!!!
thx

Re: MPC 2500 NOOB QUESTION
I'm about to buy a MPC as well, in my case a MPC1000. The operating system he is talking about os JJ OS, like wiss said.
I think the best thing for you to do is to check out these forums > www.mpc-forums.com < and read as much as you can about the JJOS and about your MPC. Even though it is a forum full of hip-hop/rap/stuff like that people, they can help you with things.
Yes... I hang in there too, even though I can't even listen to a hip-hop riff
