I hardly use it and could get something I would get more use out of so i'm contemplating getting rid of my MPC1000.
Hardly used
256 ram (sorry! a bit misleading as the mpc only reads one side so its upgraded to the full 128 ram)
120gb hard drive
JJos 1
What would be a realistic price I could sell this for? Then I can gauge if whether it will be worth getting rid as I know I will get use out of it somehow but I could do with a couple of other bits and bobs to help me now.

if blue did you upgrade the pads?
got mine for dirt cheap because of the pads were not responding. even with a 2gb card and the memory upgrade.

MPC 1000 with JJOS and a hard drive (and mostly with that Pad Upgrade thing)
go for maybe $500-$600?
..the regular ones go for $400-$500
(I've seen 'em as low as $300 though)

Re: Price of an upgraded MPC1000
oh yeah its the black one with the pad upgrade! cheers
i'm actually after an ESX as I always wanted one from when I first started to record my own stuff but only managed to scrape enough money for the ES mk2 which I love and still use alot. I tried to get another sampler to complement the ES and bought an sp404 which I did not get on with from the start (a friend has borrowed that) and then I thought the MPC would be the "be all end all" for me but I was wrong, Its not instant enough for me and I don't use it enough.
I have gone back to the thought of the ESX will work well and it could be awesome with the ES too.
