Roland S-50 RSB-504.6 Trumpet + French Horn

Post by kirk keyes » Mon Jan 24, 2011 7:26 am

I recently bought a Roland S-50 (it's as close to a Fairlight as I'll probably ever get). I downloaded the Roland Sound Bank images from the S-Group S-50 archive, and the file for the RSB-504.6 disk seems to be corrupted. The name of the disk is "Multi Sampled Solo Trumpet & French Horn".

I've looked around online for it, and I can't one that's not corrupted. Does anyone here have that disk or image that they can make a copy of it for me?

Thanks - Kirk

Hey there!

I can't remember for sure the compatibility between the S-50 and the S-550, so this may be of no help at all, but a fine gentleman has kindly offered up the Roland S-550 sample CD on his blog.

Hopefully this is helpful for you!

Unfortunately, the libraries are different between the 50 and 550. I noticed the missing disk image too, when I converted the S-50 library. You should make a request in the yahoo s-series user group.
