Hey all, got a DX7 for free recently, and after replacing the battery it works!

Mostly.

If it gets bumped around too much, it stops working again. It probably bumps the extra CPU board a bit, enough for it to lose contact. I don't even know what this board is - never seen one before and Google tells me nothing!

It replaces 3 socketed chips near the main CPU, I think where the Grey Matter E! card would plug in. Any idea what that board does for me? The system seems to work just like a normal DX7, far as I can tell.

Second problem: I can save anything to internal patch # 32, but it corrupts everything if I try to play it. Anyone had any experience with that?
