I've just set up my Ensoniq VFX using a Roland UM1 to connect to a MacBook Pro. I can record to GarageBand, but every release of every key on the keyboard generates a LOUD click or pop sound from my computer speakers.
How can I stop this clicking sound that seems to be an electronic signal to my computer delivering a loud click when any key is released? The clicking obscures the sound of instruments and makes playing impossible because of the distraction.
For reference, the clicks are not audible in the recorded sound. They occur only when playing with the release of each key.
Driving me CRAZY!
