Juno 60 filter not working properly.

Post by Karmadog » Wed Jul 26, 2017 8:04 pm

Here is a video demonstrating my problem. It only started happening a few days ago, after I had it in the shop to have some patch keys fixed.

Basically, the filter stops working on every 5th note played. Is this fixable? I think I've heard of other people having the same problem, but with the VCO, not the VCF.

Thanks!

Sounds like a problem with the resonance. It´s fixable.

Groovy! Can you tell me how hard/expensive it would be to fix? I'm sending it to the shop, and my guy is great. I'm just wondering how much sleep I should lose... that board is kinda my crown jewel.

Should not be too hard to diagnose. Worst case scenario would be a fried BA662 chip. But it could be a dry solder joint as well. Or a fried transistor. Nothing serious. Good luck!
