Hello everyone
Recently I acquired a Roland E20 synth. It’s pretty straightforward, however, there couple of functions that I don’t quite understand.
Music Style cards: The synth came with three cards TN-SC1, Dance3, Dance4 and Piano Bar.
When inserted it in I can read and play the rhythm patterns stored in the card. Is there any other info recorded on the card or just rhythm patterns?
User Programs: Extremely confusing! The manual states that E20 arrives with 8 Factory User Program presets, but as I go further it says that one can record his own preset? Does that mean the factory presets will be erased? If so, how do you load factory presets again? Manual doesn’t explain any of it. I have tried these User Programs buttons; few lights come up and the synth decides to remain silent, until I cancel the program.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

try the restore to factory function.

and yes user presets can be changed... or erased.
