Hello to all.
I have got a Roland JD-XI and despite searching for hours, playing for hours I can not get those sounds from the eighties.
Depeche Mode Just Can't Get Enough
Human League Sound of The Crowd
And Many More.
So from someone who is just starting out but wanting to create those sounds can i ask the many experts on here is there such a place where you can download these samples.
Sorry if this has been asked before.

Hey mate,
A bit of a forum search would have landed you here:

The issue you have is trying to get a JD-XI to sound like another synth. Can be done to a degree but you'll need a good solid understanding of how to program patches.
My suggestion is you get the editing tool for the JD-XI:
http://jdxi-manager.linuxtech.net/
There's a bunch of videos on my channel which show how to use this tool and get the most out of it.
Good luck

Re: Roland JD-XI Sounds
Thank you.
I have some patches from the Roland JD-XA.
I think the JD-XI only accepts .bin files where as these are .svq or .svd files.
Do you know if its possable to convert these files to .bin or a way you can upload these into the memory banks of the JD-XI.
