A friend of mine is getting ready to replace the batteries on a DX7 and a Jupiter 8. He hasn't done any soldering recently but did some years ago. He just got a nice new soldering station but no solder yet. I thought I'd spring for the supplies.
What solder and flux should I get? Is there a specific battery holder you'd recommend?
Anything else he'll need?
DX7 and Jupiter 8 battery replacement - recommended supplies?
