Juno 106 Envelope / VCA Thump Issue

Post by mlotito » Mon Jul 12, 2021 10:12 am

Hello all,

I think I've got a problem with the envelopes on my Kiwi 106. What seems to be happening is: when you trigger a low note on each 6 voices, then go to trigger a high note, you get a thump/click for the first 6 notes, then it goes.

I've replaced the VCA 4051 (IC23), and the 4052s before the 5534s (IC10 etc.). It's got original acetoned voice chips in at the moment, but I tested it with AR chips too and it does the same. I've calibrated the VCA offset for minimum click (weirdly it doesn't seem to click like this in test mode...)

I've made a recording here. Any ideas/suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
