Hi all,
First time posting but I've been snooping around here for years and thanks for all the info so far.
I have a Juno 106 which I have been slowly getting restored as I sourced bits and pieces. I recently had a tech install a full set of analog renaissance chips onto a sourced board and it worked perfectly for a few hours. I brought it back to him and after a while he got it going. Again it worked for about a couple of hours.
That was 6 months ago, in that time I moved house and had a baby, so synths were not my priority.
Everything but the saw wave appears to be working fine when I run through test mode. In normal mode if I choose a patch with no saw wave it sounds very noisy. If I press the saw wave button the noise stops (but I hear no saw wave).
Then on some patches with no saw wave there is also no noise.
Another post in the forum pointed to IC24 as being a possible solution to a similar issue.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Juno 106 saw wave issue
Finally got around to fixing the Juno. IC40 was the issue, I replaced it and now all is working fine. Thought I'd reply to myself in case anyone else wanders into the thread some day.

Re: Juno 106 saw wave issue
Solved. I finally got around to fixing the Juno. Turned out it was IC40, a bit of searching on the forums here and elsewhere found the answer. Just posting here in case it helps anyone else. Vacuum desolder gun for the win.
