Juno 60 arpeggio acting very strange

So, turning it the keyboard on initially whatever patch is selected automatically holds a certain set of notes.

When I turn the arpeggiator on and off it seems to fix the problem of the notes being held. The keyboard seems to work fine except for the fact that some of the keys don’t work. When I turn the arpeggiator back on it automatically starts arpeggiating without me playing anything, and the notes it arpeggiates are the dead keys plus some other ones.

These keys don’t play when pressed:

E1 C2 G#2 E3 C4 G#4 E5 C6

When you turn the arpeggiator with the mode on “up” it will play these notes in this order

E1 C2 G#2 E3 C4 G#4 E5 C6 (the dead keys) and then these, which the first 5 here work as they should
E2 C3 G#3 E4 C5 G#5 E5 C6 (this is also strange because the interval from G#5 to E5 goes down)

Putting it in the “up&down” mode will play the same set of notes forwards and backwards, which makes sense. But switching it to “down” mode still plays the notes forward and backwards, which obviously isn’t right.

Pressing G#5 plays chords utilizing So here’s what I’m finding so far.

Pressing G#5 plays chords utilizing random variations of these notes but transposed up a half step. Same with A5 but up 2 half steps, A#5 but up 3 half steps, B5 but up 4 half steps, and pressing C6 will hold a chord using a random variation of the “dead” keys.

What the heck is wrong?!? I cleaned the contacts but as I predicted this didn’t fix the problem.

This could happen for a variety of reasons and not something you could sort out unless you are a tech so take it to one. If you're in Sydney, Australia let me know I can sort it out for you, I've repaired quite a few
