I've got a DP/4 which is stuck in test mode (the generic fault that plagues all(?) the Ensoniq stuff as it seems).
Things I've tried so far and are *probably* okay:
Replaced the EPROMS with v1.15.
Replaced the panel to motherboard ribbons (both of them).
Replaced the UART chip.
Checked voltages (they're okay both on the analog and digital section.)
8MHz clock is okay.
Randomly hitting the motherboard just in case there's a cold joint yields nothing
Finally a new processor is on the way just in case.
I'm open to suggestions on how to proceed with this as I'd really like to get it going again!
