Korg Poly-61 won’t enter Parameter Mode

I previously asked for help with the repair of my Korg P61. Tried some thing, but no luck so far!

The issue is that my Korg Poly-61 won’t go into parameter mode. The Tape and Write buttons are set to Disable.

I have already replaced the battery with a new one. The Parameter button itself works correctly, and I have also checked the ribbon cables to the PCB — those connections appear to be fine as well.

Does anyone have any further ideas I could try? I’m considering replacing IC32 (the M58981). Does anyone here have experience with this?
