I need a recomendation

Post by robinjames1 » Sat Oct 21, 2006 7:30 pm

I have been playing piano, but I am looking to go electric. I would like a reccomendation on a synth that isn't too expensive but nice ecough to have for a while.

Fast answer (no web browsing required):

1)
-For real piano and electric piano (and orchestral) sounds, (in between others that include electronica sounds)... : Korg X50 is my fast answer...

2-For synthetic/electronica sounds + programability: The Korg MS2000 / Alesis ION /Novation X-station (there's a war out there)

3 Number 2 on the cheap: Micro Korg/ Alesis Micron/ Novation Xiosynth. Perfect, and if you already have a midi capable pro keyboard, you could control these small synths.

Fast answers aren't usually perfect or complete... there are lot of more options... and also, you could consider used gear.
