hi everyone, i´m new in all this vintage synth world. i have a korg triton le pro, and a toshiba satelite laptop, my problem here is that i want to generate more 70s and 80s sounds, is a project that i have, it´s a fusion between electronic music like:
- drum & bass
- electo pop from the 80s (the boggles, aha)
- and some new edge from the 70s (tangerine dream, jare, brian eno, mike oldfield)
sounds kinda crazy jeje, but i dont have gear to generate vintage sounds, this give me another problem. i leave in Guatemala is in Central America, here is imposible that you can get vintage synth many trademarks doesn´t exist in the market, like nord, moog, etc.... you can only get some new korg and yamahas.
can someone please help me, finding some pc emulatiors maybe our some advise about what synth will be a good bussines because i will import from the us.
thanks

If you have Reason 2.0 and it is a registered version then you should still be able to get the 2.5 upgrade for free from the Propellarheads website. It is worthwhile because you get the Screamer unit that is basically a guitar pedal emulator to process and distort your sounds. Plus you get the Vocoder, though it is not, imo, a true vocoder. -jlm

A-ha used tons of Yamahas DX7, so my bet is to get also Native instruments FM7(Yamaha DX7 emulation).kikezea wrote:hi everyone, i´m new in all this vintage synth world. i have a korg triton le pro, and a toshiba satelite laptop, my problem here is that i want to generate more 70s and 80s sounds, is a project that i have, it´s a fusion between electronic music like:

I have lots of Future Music magazine numbers, which comes with tones of demos and info. Of course, if you have a good internet connection, then just search the website and download some demos.
