edirol pcr-m30 keys wont work

hi i know that this is a vintage synth forum but i have a huge problem with my keyboard controller
i have had it for about 2 years a bit over a year ago 1 of the keys stopped working and then in the
last 6 months most of the top half of the keys are not functioning i have heard about someone fixing this
but i can't find the forum or anything on it so thought i'd try here.
i haven't split anything on it or dropped it. and have heard so many people with the same problem
and edirol are so bloody useless at replying let alone helping me.

please help

Hi

Either it's cold solder joints or loose wiring or dirty contacts. Or maybe a perforated flat strap. Or maybe a component failure (like diode). Hard to say from a distance.

yeah i'll have to have a look into in a bit more ... maybe i'll just buy a new controller
that should solve the problem
