Planning on getting A7's wondering what cord for balanced I should get?

Would I just hook the balanced end into a quarter inch on the other end?

Here is what I am planning to get and would hook it to the back

I was contemplating a similar setup. Substitute a pair of A7's with some KRK Rokits though, heh.
Also, I was thinking about the Konnect8 as opposed to the Konnect24. I've been told that firewire interfaces can be a drag on the CPU. True or false?

USB perhaps but not this thing. I have 3gb of dual channel DDR. Then again I am running vista.
Today I am changing it to Windows PRO. Only reason is Drivers. Reminds me of Windows NT when
I had it, not one driver would work. Though windows xp is based off it and works fine. I wish that
Microsoft would tell companies to hurry up with the drivers so that it would work. So do you know
of any good cables out there??

PS you essentially are paying on the 24 for the filters... let me start by saying WOW they kick the
sound up a notch!!!
