Anyone installed Kenton MIDI retrofit for Juno-60?

Post by StepLogik » Wed Aug 15, 2007 3:43 pm

Curious if anyone has installed a Kenton MIDI retrofit for Juno-60? I'm wondering how involved it is since I can't seem to find any instructions on Kenton's website.

From looking at the Ju-60's schematics, it looks like the Kenton kit could be patched into the data-bus lines without having to do any soldering at all.

Easier and cheaper to get Kenton's DCB interface if it's a 60 you're using.

that one is easy to install, but only supports midi note on/off. I'd like to have the arp clock and VCF control.

Yeah its a 60 and the DCB box is definitely cheaper. I hate to have an external box and I wonder if it will add any latency... i did a search and other ppl using it don't seem to have any issues so i guess its OK.

Cheaper, excellent build quality, no latency problems and more advanced than the Kenton offering:
