MEK and Evolver owners, power supply question

Post by Stab Frenzy » Fri Aug 31, 2007 3:31 am

The power supply on my Evolver died and I need to get another, however I'm thinking I should get two as I don't want to be without one when I'm gigging. I'm going to get a MEK soon though, and was wondering if there's anyone who's owned both who could tell me if they use the same power supply?

cheers.

I'm sorry but I ignore the answer. And I'm amazed that no-one replied yet.

I guess your best bet would be to contact: [email protected]

The MEK I have takes a wall-wart thing, 13-15V DC, 700mA, centre positive.

OK, for future reference the evo and mek use the same supply, and the pek and per use the same supply. You can use the poly supply on the monos but not the other way round.

Also the evolvers should run on any supply over 13V, as it's internally regulated.

Lastly the Australian distributors, Audio Chocolate, are a bunch of j**k and won't support DSI gear bought directly from Dave Smith. They jacked up the price to triple and were really rude over the phone when they found out I'd bought direct from DSI. If anyone in Australia ever needs DSI stuff, I suggest you buy from somewhere else.
