I'm trying to load the factory patches but not having any luck. The sysex patches I've downloaded seem to only load 8 patches.

Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing. All I've tried is just sending the sysex to the synth. No button pressing first.

Anyone know the correct procedure?

It has to be in midi mode 2 or 3 (I dont remember which)

So far no luck, even after changing the midi mode.

I can load patches 00-19 but not beyond that. Perhaps the sysex file I have is bad. Anyone have a known good set of patches for the MultiTrak?

Thanks for the help. I got the patches loaded and as far as I can tell, the problem was with the program I was using to send sysex. For some reason I was originally some freeware. I used Sonar and all worked well.

Hi there - just updating info for any Sequential MULTITRAK owners having issues or wanting to find resources.

The Sequential MULTITRAK is a cool synth with a very usable sound - but it's not super clear how to get some things working, so I hope this helps someone!
