RS7000 midi routing!! plz help!!

Hi I just bought yamaha rs7000 and I don't know how to connect it with my other gears. It has 2xmidi in, 2xmidi out.

I have machinedrum(midi in,out,thru), Nordlead2 (midi in,out), nord modular rack(midi in,out)

how should I connect midi cables to sequence all the gears from rs7k?

I want to use nordlead2 keyboard so I can play nord modular rack with it.
so maybe I should use rs7k's one midi in and out for nordlead2.
and then, I'll only have one midi out left. so how should I connect machinedrum and nord modular? help plz!!

I would connect the nord keyboard to the midi in 1 and midi out 1 back out to it so you can sequence the nord and use it as a master controller (turn the local off). Connect the out 2 to the machinedrum in and machinedrum thru to the modular. Make sure it sends clock to the machindrum if you want to use it's sequencer (which you probably will)

There is only 1 midi in connector.

Extra Info if it Helps.

The tracks are assignable to midi channels too in setup #6. Also you may need to turn Echo Back off or on sometimes as well as adjust the Midi Control settings in Utility Midi Setup. So there are at least a couple places on the RS you'll want to check for midi settings. The one on #6 I believe saves as a Pattern or Song Setting, the Utility one is Global I believe. View filter which is Enter twice on the number pad takes you to Midi Filters, can come in handy too.

Pg 260 in manual might explain some more to ya too.
