Juno-6 Help

The other day my Juno-6 did something strange, and was curious if anyone had any idea what caused it.
I was playing it like normal, with a thick bass type pad and it was working fine. But when I pressed the lowest note (C2) all I got was a type of high frequency white noise sound. Someone in the room with me thought it was that the key contacts needed to be cleaned, but if it was that, then you would still hear the original sound, just it would be playing on and off. I went away for a few minutes, came back and played the note and it was back to sounding normal. But now a different note doesn't play at all (most likely this is a key contact issue since it was flickering before and now it just stopped completely.)
I plan on taking my Juno into a shop soon for a bit of servicing, but how much can techs usually accomplish in an hour? The nearest tech is about an hour away driving and costs $80 an hour. What I'm mainly looking to get done is just clean the key contacts and clean the sliders/repair slightly bent ones.
