Last weekend I bought a DX7 off Craigslist for $20. The guy said it made sounds but had some dead keys. I took a chance and besides the face plate being a little bent up everything seems to work fine on it. It does have three dead keys though. Two of these, a G# and an A, have the little lip piece that connect them to the keyboard broken off. These I'll need to replace. Does anyone have any sources for ordering replacement keys?
There is also a dead D key. It is connected in fine but does not make any noise when pressed. Could this be because the metal bar part that makes the actual connection is out of alignment? Or, should I be checking into some other problem that might be causing it not to sound?
Thanks.
