Casio CZ5000 crazy distortion

Hey guys,

I'm having some issues with my cz5000,

i picked it up a while ago for about $70 in 'as is' condition thinking I could repair whatever was wrong with it... so heres the deal:

on certain patches where more of the modulators are active, on certain voices (which leads me to beleive its got f**k voice chips), hitting a key totally f**k up the sound in a similar way to if you put your cell phone to a speaker, but crazier, infinitely louder, and obviously bad.

has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

does anybody know any kind of fix for this?

thanks guys
No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.
