Hello everyone,
Hoping someone can give me a little insight to my problem with my JX-305 not giving me access to patches/patterns/or system? my JX just started to lock me out of doing anything! The LCD just shows the welcome message "Roland JX-305 Groove Synth". no LED lights on except temp indicator. And only the default sound patch is able to be played. The Board is 11 years old and I have used it quite a bit does anyone have any ideas?

Usually, the problem is the Xtal Oscilliator going bad. It looks like that here. But I'll have to dig up my service manual to make sure.
