Hello everybody.I just bought my d-50 a few months ago,and at first everything was ok,than after a while I noticed that every time the key is pressed ,I hear the noise that goes along with the sound, and fade away with it.It is not loud, but it could be easely heard if you listen carefully. The noise appears with every sound.I tried to turn off the chorus,reverb...and verified each oscilator seperately. The noise was still there.Than i sent d-50 to someone who repairs all kind of keyboards, but he is not specialized in roland. He could not find the error. If anyone knows the solution,i would be very grateful. Please help.

A few things can provoke "noise".
Questions:
1) Can you describe the "noise". Is that a crackling, a hissing, low-pitched? Different components do different "noise" when defective. It can be a transistor, an op-amp, an IC, a capacitor, etc.
2) Does the noise hearable in both outputs, just in one (which?), can it be heard also be heard from the headphone?
Generality: *usually" the low-noise op-amps used in the D-50 go south. BUT it's not because some have this problem that everyone has that problem. But, considering its age, it's about normal that they become less "low noise" now.

Noise is low-pitched and it can be heard from both outputs + headphones.
The noise is more affective on longer sounds,on shorter which have none release,is hardly noticable.

Is it like hissing white noise or like humming? If it's humming noise, it may just be bad audio cables.
