Hi. I'm a long time lurker who has befitted from many discussions here.
I own an Oberheim Matrix-6 and am looking for a replacement rocker-type pedal control for the Pedal 1 input.
Information on the correct sort of pedal is limited. The manual only states:
The PEDAL 1 jack is designed to accept a "continuous" pedal - a rocker- type pedal usually used for volume or filter control.
Do any Martix owners know what sort of pedal does the job?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Oberheim Martix 6 Continuous Pedal
After experimentation, I found that the continuous pedal is a CV Pedal.
I am not yet sure what the "ideal" working range of the CV Pedal is.
The pedal I tried has a 9V power supply and only alters parameters for a small portion of the pedal's "sweep" - indicating that a lower power supply source (6V? 5V?) would allow the full sweep of the pedal to be used.
There's also the possibility that an ideal pedal would deliver a ranger of voltages from negative to positive. I have to mess with it some more.
I will post what I discover.
If anyone has ideas on the ranges of CV Pedals Oberheim liked to use, please share.
Thanks,
c

Re: Oberheim Martix 6 Continuous Pedal
why not try a 10K pot between the tip and ring of the cable? That is what a volume pedal does
