I'm trying to update the system to OS v2.8 using 'Sysex Librarian' on the Mac. Its normally a very simple procedure, but for some reason I cant get the Virus to update. I've checked all the Global settings on the Virus and cant see anything that should stop it receiving the midi file update and 'Sysex Librarian' has worked fine for all my other system updates so i'm totally baffled.
Has anyone encountered similar problems updating their 'Virus A' OS? Perhaps i'm missing an important setting somewhere in the Global menu?
When I send the update I get a little 'SE' appear on the Virus Screen which I assume tells me its receiving some sort of message but then again i'm not sure and have no idea what the 'SE' means. According to the Virus update manual I should get some building blocks and a message telling me the next step but I don't get any of this. - Just a little 'SE' and then no update.
I'm trying to update from OS v1.53 to OS v2.8.
I'm out of ideas so any help would be great.
