My poor AX-60
So I've been having an ongoing issue pretty much since I got my AX-60 in 2004, I got a really good deal for it on ebay but with the typical disclaimer "a few scratches and slidercaps missing" and though it was in pretty good condition (minus the LCD that had been pushed into the board, and the missing sliders, and the power supply giving up the ghost...heh) the lack of sliders on the ASDR is a issue I'd like to deal with. The thing is, I've noticed that AX-60's seem to be rather rare, (i've only seen one other one on ebay since I got mine) and I'm having a h**l of a time trying to find slidercaps. Anyone have any tips or info it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: My poor AX-60
im sorry to hear about your plight with the AX-60. I have owned once since 2004 as well, and I agree they are not a common synth by any means.
Im not sure if you could just get some 3rd market sliders of some kind. I wish I knew how to help.

Re: My poor AX-60
thanks for the input, I'd be very okay with just getting third party sliders, the problem is I'm not too sure where to find them. I found a few sites that have sliders for ARP/Roland/Moog gear but nothing for akai.

Re: My poor AX-60
I took borrowed the sliders of a Roland SP 808, je je . Mine had 2 missing cap sliders.
but man, that's not a big deal! is a really minor problem.
I got it also on 2003 on Ebay for $325...
