Does anyone know of a simple (cheap or DIY) solution to take a MIDI clock signal, and output an audible click track for an Arpeggio clock in? Say on a Juno 60 for example?
The key is I'd like to be able to quantize the signal. I know this would be possible with something like the CHK DCB-MIDI Converter. But I don't really need that level of functionality.
My work around right now is programming a separate drum track to a separate output on the drum machine, but this does not allow flexibility to switch the quantization.
Any ideas?

Re: MIDI to Arpeggio Clock In?
??? Just make different drum patterns with different quantisations and switch between the patterns when you want to change. Doing it this way works great because you can program much more interesting rhythmic arpeggios, like triplets and stuff, that you couldn't do if you were just straight syncing to clock.winningatlife wrote:My work around right now is programming a separate drum track to a separate output on the drum machine, but this does not allow flexibility to switch the quantization.

Indeed. You'd probably be surprised how easy it is to trigger the ARP-Clock In. Experiment running drum sounds (click sounds are best) and other noises into the Juno. I've triggered my Juno using a multitude of different methods...winningatlife wrote: ???
